A double-inhale followed by a long, slow exhale.
How to practice
Cyclic sighing uses a first inhale, a smaller top-up inhale, and a long exhale.
- Inhale gently.
- Take a second smaller inhale.
- Exhale slowly and fully.
- Repeat without forcing the breath.
