How to practice
Pursed-lip breathing uses a short nasal inhale and a longer exhale through lightly pursed lips.
- Inhale gently through the nose.
- Purse your lips as if cooling soup.
- Exhale slowly for twice as long.
- Keep the neck and shoulders relaxed.
